“Just an innocent heart is needed for meditation. And hypnosis can cleanse your heart and can bring you into the state of a small child.”

New to meditation? Then you’ll know how hard it can be to attain a state of peaceful serenity when your mind keeps reminding you of all the things you ought to be doing. Or perhaps you’re doing your best but not getting anywhere with it?

Help is at hand!

“You meditate, but you don't succeed. You don't succeed in watching; you get mixed up with thoughts, you forget watching. You remember later on, ‘I was going to watch, but I am thinking.’ Hypnosis can help you; it can make the watcher and the thoughts separate.”

"Your question is very significant. You are asking, ‘While using hypnosis in the service of meditation....’ Hypnosis in itself can be used dangerously unless it is used in the service of meditation. I will have to explain to you what exactly is meant by hypnosis and how it can be misused if it is not used singularly in the service of meditation.

"Hypnosis literally means deliberately created sleep. It is now known that thirty-three percent, that is one third of humanity is capable of going into the deepest layers of hypnosis. It is a strange number, thirty-three percent; strange because only thirty-three percent of people have the aesthetic sense, only thirty-three percent of people have sensitivity, only thirty-three percent of people have friendliness, only thirty-three percent of people are creators. And my only experience is that these thirty-three percent of the people are the same, because creativity and sensitivity are meditation, are love, are friendliness. All need essentially one thing: a deep trust in oneself, in the existence, and a receptivity and opening of the heart.”

Look As If for the First Time

“We look at things always with old eyes. You come to your home; you look at it without looking at it. You know it – there is no need to look at it. You have entered it again and again for years together. You go to the door, you enter the door; you may unlock the door. But there is no need to look.

“This whole process goes on robot-like, mechanically, unconsciously. If something goes wrong, only if your key is not fitting into the lock, then you look at the lock. If the key fits, you never look at the lock. Because of mechanical habits, repeatedly doing the same thing again and again, you lose the capacity to look; you lose the freshness to look.”

Deva Mayo
Deva Mayo is a member of the board of “Friends of Osho” in Holland, the organization responsible for placing a complete set of Osho books in the National Library of the Netherlands in The Hague. They also organize an Osho Festival four times a year in various parts of Holland. Mayo came to the Meditation Resort after 25 years and is spellbound by the beauty of the place. She says, "It is totally Osho-like to me. The beauty, harmony,
silence, cleanliness and sense of total safety are incredible. It gives me freedom to feel at ease, and it is very peaceful. I am pleasantly surprised by the two eating areas, Zorba the Buddha, and Meera. There are so many choices, the food is so hygienically prepared, and tastes delicious; a great example for others.

Gavin Zarathustra
If you want to escape from anything in your life, do not come to the OSHO International Meditation Resort, for here you have to face yourself all the time because this place is a huge mirror. Every person, every act of yours mirrors you. After my graduation as a psychologist I guess I was trying to escape from the society in Taiwan and their attitude of making money only for feeding themselves; there are no other higher values for them. I
happened to read an Osho book and was drawn to Pune. Life is more intense here, it is alive and vibrant. I am learning many inner skills, many of them by participating in courses where I can see my masks and drop them. I am trying to change myself. I have learnt to enjoy myself without any baggage. For me, this is the place where I can do every experiment on myself in order to enjoy life more.
