Doctors and scientists have now come to recognize what common sense has always told us – that there is a deep connection between body and mind, and it profoundly affects our overall physical health and sense of well-being. Researchers have found that more than half our physical ailments are stress-related. And the "placebo effect" – where people get better just because they believe that a certain treatment or medicine is going to help them, even if they are only taking a sugar pill – is well documented.
Osho points out often in his talks that the thin layer of the conscious mind – the part that intellectually understands something – is only a tenth of our reality. The unconscious layers are far bigger, and when we’re not in touch with them they can be far more powerful.… |

"The body is a miracle"; it is tremendously beautiful, tremendously complex. There is no other thing so complex, so subtle as the body. You don't know anything about it. You have only looked at it in the mirror. You have never looked at it from the within; otherwise it is a universe in itself. That's what the mystics have always been saying: that the body is a miniature universe. If you see it from the inside, it is so vast – millions and millions of cells, and each cell alive with its own life, and each cell functioning in such an intelligent manner that it seems almost incredible, impossible, unbelievable...." |

The Vietnamese Visitors |
|
A bubbly group of 18 Vietnamese men and women, their age group ranging from 24 to 72 years, visited the OSHO International Meditation Resort. They participated in the OSHO Meditations, in OSHO Multiversity courses like the Fast Track to Yourself and Breath Energy. The Vietnamese dance presented by the group one evening was received by fantastic applause.
And how was their experience of the place?
"Never seen a place like this. It is as if in the forest but it is high tech. You are breathing fresh air. And the food is excellent. People are so beautiful. We have stayed at the OSHO Guesthouse. The staff is so helpful, courteous in a friendly way,” said Hua, the coordinator.
Tien, a corporate coach said, “It is a cool place. The silence isolates you from the world outside. I haven't touched my mobile since I am here. And I am happy about it.”
Yen Quynh is a translator who finds the meditation resort “breath taking. It’s another world. Once you are in, you don’t feel like going out.”
Dzuang is a professor of mathematics. He said excitedly, "I liked the one day course of breathing energy. It was amazing. I found it was the best way to cleanse myself. It has made me a new person.“ |

Award Winning OSHO Zen Tarot |
|
Instead of focusing on the traditional tarot approach of trying to satisfy a longing to know about the past and future, the OSHO Zen Tarot brings our awareness to the challenge of gaining an understanding of the here and now. It is a system based on the wisdom of Zen, a wisdom that says events in the outer world simply reflect simply reflect our own thoughts and feelings, even though we ourselves might be unclear about what those thoughts and feelings are. So it helps us to turn our attention away from outside events so we can find a new clarity of understanding in our innermost hearts, our silent center. The conditions and states of mind portrayed by the contemporary images on the cards are all shown as being essentially transitional and yet transformative. The text in the accompanying book helps to interpret and understand the images in the simple, straightforward and down-to-earth language of Zen. |
