Osho Meditation Resort
Here is a resort with a difference. Normally we are told that we have to go out and relax. Here you can try something new. Go in and relax. On this campus, "relaxation" is based on meditation.
And here, "meditation" is not something serious, "special" or "spiritual," but a natural part of everyday life, just as relaxation is. In fact it is just learning to be more and more aware.
Normally we use awareness without being aware of it, but only about outside things. The whole day we are using it about things – like dealing with cars in the traffic. It is the same awareness that has to be used for the inside traffic, the thoughts, emotions, dreams, imaginations….
And once you start to become aware of what is happening inside you, everything changes. Instead of decisions being made unconsciously, because of thoughts and feelings you are not aware of, you can start making conscious, intentional choices in our life. Relaxed awareness can become your lifestyle.
There is a beautiful swimming pool, tennis courts, cafés and gourmet, vegeterian cooking – and visitors from over 100 countries to enjoy.
So this is a place to be alone together, where each can learn from the other while respecting everyone’s unique individuality.
The combination of the inner and the outer is the essential synthesis of the resort, a possibility of first discovering your own potential, and then living it in your everyday life. A “Zorba the Buddha” approach to life, where we can learn to have our feet firmly on the ground, dancing even, and yet our hands are free to touch the stars.
There are three principle ways of participating at the resort:
A full program of meditations.
A Multiversity that runs a wide range of courses, workshops and trainings.
A residential program as part of "Work as Meditation," where you can experiment with what you have learned and how to apply it in your everyday life.
