Chapter 9: The Inner Revolution

But the story is beautiful. We have all gone searching for the golden deer in just the same way and we have all lost our Sitas, our beloveds. Sita is your soul - what you have - and you have forgotten it. You have turned your back on it. You have gone in the search of the golden deer - fame and position, wealth, respect, honor. These are all the golden deer that have never existed, and never will.

Our existence is like a bubble,
This whole show is a mirage.
Open the eye of the heart to the other world also -
Any status here is just a dream.

Just open your heart a little to that other world also, because everything here is dreamlike.

Open the eye of the heart to the other world also.

Open the eye of the heart to that reality; push aside the veil, raise the curtain.

Any status here is just a dream.

Power here in this world is not anything more than a dream.

Our existence is like a bubble.

Our existence is just like a bubble, a bubble in the water. It is here one moment, gone the next.

This whole show is a mirage.

This whole miragelike show goes on - it is false. It is there just because we believe in it.

And people will believe anything! Our whole world is a creation of our beliefs. We have just believed.the whole thing is based on belief. And because we have believed it so we go on perpetuating it. Someone who doesn’t share in these beliefs will simply laugh..

For the man who runs after money, money is truth. But someone who doesn’t run after money will laugh saying, “You are mad. What can money do? What can happen with money? You will have to leave it behind you just the same.” Someone who doesn’t have this same belief will be very surprised that you are running after it. But in the eyes of a person who has this belief there is an intoxication. He is not in his senses.
