| To Be Nice…or Natural |
| "It is better to be natural rather than controlling your anger. |
"…If you are natural maybe immediately you may feel that the price is too much; it is never! In the long run it is always beneficial to be natural. Repression may give you a false appearance of things being in control and everything going well; finally you have to pay deeply. Then it is too late and you cannot do anything. That's what has been done to everybody, every mother has done this to every child. …"

| The Disease of Doing |
"First, the nature of activity and the hidden currents in it have to be understood, otherwise no relaxation is possible. Even if you want to relax, it will be impossible if you have not observed, watched, realized, the nature of your activity, because activity is not a simple phenomenon.
"Many people would like to relax, but they cannot relax. Relaxation is like a flowering: you cannot force it. You have to understand the whole phenomenon – why you are so active, why so much occupation with activity, why you are obsessed with it. …"

| The Knack of Transforming Feelings |
|
"This is a beautiful method, it will be very useful for you. For example, if you are feeling very discontented, what to do? Patanjali says ponder on the opposite: if you are feeling discontented, contemplate on contentment, what is contentment. …"

I used to work in my father's company of luxury shoe-makers in Florence, Italy. I found it a hypocritical world where everyone tried to cheat each other. Working in this way made my heart sad.
By chance I found Osho’s books, and when I read them I started crying. I decided to come to Pune. I felt if I didn't, I would die.
I was completely amazed to see this place; people who can understand me, beauty all around, and I meditated every day. The Osho talk in the Evening Meeting was a hammer on my head. OSHO Dynamic Meditation was the best for me. I did it for five months and it brought to the surface much that I was repressing.
When I started Work as Meditation I found some keys that make work a delightful experience: totality, overflow, being playful. The most difficult was dealing with peoples' emotions, yet slowly I am getting the knack of it.
This training helped me back home, too. I can see my conditioning, my relationship with my father. I can solve issues by remaining detached. These working skills are teaching me not to postpone enjoyment, and that meditation is inside the work.

| Meditating on the Night |
 |
Just be alone, sit silently, look into the darkness. Become one with the dark, disappear into it. Look at the stars ‑ feel the distance, the silence, the emptiness, and use night for your meditation. Sitting in the bed doing nothing…just feeling. Many people are completely unaware of the beauties of the night…and night is tremendously beautiful. It is the right time for meditation.
