| Resistence to Meditation / Dropping Misery |
You offer meditation as a means for my leaving my misery behind and all I do is resist. The thought of being still and silent doesn’t excite me; in fact it scares me.
Could you explain my resistance to meditation?

I have been visiting OSHO International Meditation Resort since 2005, and every visit has been an adventure that brings me closer to existence.
I was always fascinated by the joy people working here were carrying within themselves. I had a deep longing to come for the Residential Program so in 2009 I left my frustrating and stressful teaching job in the US and made the decision to do the 60-day program. I came to watch, to witness myself while at work, adopting Osho’s vision of ‘it’s not what you do but how you do it.’ I was given a job which I knew nothing about and felt I would be unable to learn, but my trainer and this immensely supportive environment that nourishes one’s inner self lead me to learn something absolutely new with joy.
The three main meditations, OSHO Dynamic, OSHO Kundalini, and the Evening Meeting Meditation, are the greatest support systems in this program, and the balance of meditation and work during the day and the parties and events in the evening is also incredibly nurturing. |

| Feel the Presence of Existence |
 |
 |
 |
| This technique is based on inner sensitivity. First grow in sensitivity. Just close your doors, make the room dark and light a small candle. Sit near the candle with a very loving attitude – rather, with a prayerful attitude. First take a bath, throw cold water on your eyes, then sit in a very prayerful mood before the candle... |
