| The Food of Love |
| "As life is... I divide it in three parts: breakfast, lunch, supper. The childhood is the breakfast-time. And as it happens if you have not been given your breakfast today, you will feel very, very hungry, out of all proportion, at lunchtime. And if you have missed lunch also, then of course at supper you will be almost mad…." |

| The Art of Eating |
|
"Whenever you are half-hearted in anything, it lingers longer.
"If you are sitting at your table and eating, and if you eat only half-heartedly and your hunger remains, then you will continue to think about food the whole day. You can try fasting and you will see: you will continuously think about food…." |

| Fear of Death Means a Partially-lived Life |
|
| Often the fear of death comes up, intense and strong, and the fear of having to leave all this beauty, this friendship and love. How is it possible to relax in this certainty of death? |
|
| "First, it is possible to relax only when death is a certainty. Relaxing is difficult when things are uncertain. If you know that you are going to die today, all fear of death will disappear…." |

After graduating from university I found myself in a confused state of mind, so to understand who I am and what I want, I decided to start meditation. The best way to do this was to come to the OSHO International Meditation Resort which I had heard so much about!
Coming into the Work as Meditation Living-in Program I have learned more about the work environment as well as exploring myself in depth through attending the Evening Meetings. I have found out what type of work I enjoy, as well as becoming more relaxed and aware.
The combination of meditation with all the activities here has provided much comfort and enjoyment, as well as a chance to interact with great people from around the world, and this is priceless. The program has also brought out my creative side, through painting, the Variety Show, and DJ-ing, which I would have never done had it not been for this place.
Being away from home and loved ones, I thought it would be hard to adapt, but I find only peace and joy. In fact I have extended my stay for another month! This monsoon season makes the breathtaking greenery seem like a rainforest, and the sound of the peacocks gives me a sense of peace which I will always remember.

The essence of meditation is the knack of “witnessing,” “watching,” “observing,” “self‑remembering…." Because the body is the most tangible part of us, almost all the approaches use a bodily/physical phenomenon as the object of this watching, as a way to learn this knack.
Osho takes this ancient play to a whole new level – now using “sounds” as that bodily phenomenon. As Osho
explains, “The art of listening is the simplest method of transformation.”

Here you will find many beautiful hours of sounds, of somebody drawing a painting with words, a painting that is designed to be dissolved in… as if you were listening to the sound of wind through the trees… where the words are like musical notes that contain the eternal message of silence, of harmony…."
