Positive thinking seems much like optimism, in that events and situations are viewed in the best light. The event or situation itself remains as it is, and by thinking positively about it aren’t we fooling ourselves by forcing the negative into the unconscious? Isn’t it more honest to see things just as they are, with the negative as essential as the positive? |
“The technique of positive thinking is not a technique that transforms you. It is simply repressing the negative aspects of your personality. It is a method of choice. It cannot help awareness; it goes against awareness. |
“Awareness is always choiceless." |

"When there are no thoughts, it is then that we come to know the one hidden by our thoughts. When there are no clouds the blue sky is revealed. My friends, there is a sky within you as well." Osho |

“Raman used to give a technique to his disciples: they were just to enquire, ‘Who am I?’ In Tibet they use a similar technique, but better than Raman’s. They don’t ask, ‘Who am I?’ They ask, ‘Where am I?’ – because the who can create a problem. When you enquire, ‘Who am I?’ you take it for granted that you are; the only question is to know who you are. You have presupposed that you are. That is not contested. It is taken for granted that you are…." |

'Wild Wild Country,” the recently released six-part Netflix docuseries, is capturing worldwide attention. It recounts the extraordinary story of a group of people, inspired by the vision of the mystic, Osho, who create an alternative way of living in central Oregon. |
These events trigger a political and criminal confrontation between a revolutionary vision of a new way of living versus the establishment. Unfortunately, the docuseries fails to explore key aspects and so does not give a clear account of the real story behind the story. |
